Sprinkler Systems
Sprinkler systems come in many forms, and choosing the right type can be a daunting task. But when you work with Complete Landcare in the Tampa Bay area, we will take the guesswork out of the decision and install the right system for you.
There are several things to consider when you are trying to decide on what sprinkler system is best for your needs. What area do you need to cover? What is your budget? What type of garden or landscaping do you have? How about the local legal codes?
One type that is among the most common of sprinkler systems is the soaker hose. Basically, this is a simple hose with holes along its length, and you control the water flow by using the faucet to turn the water on and off. Often, a high-quality metal tubing is used for a more sophisticated version of this type of system; it works the same way, but usually has a line water pressure adjuster, T-joints and an automatic timer.
Since our land in Florida is flat and tends to have very absorbent soils, a spray sprinkler may be the best option. There are pop-up models, which come out of the ground and go on at preset times, or fixed models that are permanently attached to pipes. Then there are rotor head sprinkler systems; these are similar, but they rotate to better distribute the water and have a farther reach, meaning you won’t need to install so much piping.
Regardless of whether you choose one of those types or a different sprinkler system altogether, we can help you decide on what will best help your lawn. And once we install it, we can help you determine what the timer schedule should be so that you get the maximum benefit from your new sprinkler systems.
Another benefit to having us install your sprinkler systems is that we are current with all of the local codes for sprinkler installation. We will make sure that everything is installed and working correctly.
In addition to designing and installing your sprinkler systems, we can also take care of them to ensure they are working to the best of their ability. With our monthly and quarterly maintenance, we inspect, clean and adjust nozzles and heads; look for leaks; make sure control valves are in working order; adjust irrigation clocks and timers; and make any other necessary changes. Something wrong with your sprinkler system? Give us a call and we will be glad to repair it.
Sure, you could try to install sprinkler systems yourself, but do you really want the hassle? You have to worry about any local codes, and these systems can be difficult to put together and install – meaning a lot of hard work such as bending and digging. Why not let the professionals take care of all of that?
